FRP rebar with spirally wrapped is used to replace metal rebar in non-load-bearing structures in civil, industrial construction.
A.Coils of 50, 100, 200 meters (for diameters ø4-12 mm) B. Rods of 3, 6, 12 meters (for diameters ø4-40 mm)
High corrosion and chemical resistance, low conductivity, radio transparency, dielectric, light weight, high tensile strength. COMPOSITION : Fiberglass roving, the epoxy-resin-based compound.
Fiberglass roving, the epoxy-resin-based compound.
Reinforcement of conventional non-stressed concrete structures (road and sidewalk slabs, car parks, road bridge decks, industrial floors, road fences, power transmission line supports); Reinforcement of foundations and structures elastic soil.
Reinforcement of floor cement screed, self-leveling floors; Rods (wall ties) in multi-layer walling; Concrete street furniture and architectural structures; Garden hot houses and supports for plants (espaliers); Constructions that don’t induce magnetic fields; Reinforcement of thin-walled structures for various purposes (fences, sound walls); Reinforcement of structures exposed to aggressive environments that corrode steel rebar.
Composite polymer reinforcing bars should be stored in horizontal position on racks, in unheated or heated warehouses at least 1 m from the heating devices at a height of at least 100 mm from the floor.
Always wear gloves before starting work with fiberglass rebar. You can use latex or PVC coated gloves, this will prevent from running “glass splinters“ into skin. Use safety goggles and clothing that covers all areas of the body to prevent the contact with fiberglass particles. Moreover there is a need to protect the respiratory system from dust that can be generated during cutting of the rebar. For these purposes, use tight-fitting respirators. Reel out the coils vertically. Large coils shall be reeled out by at least 2 people and only on the territory of the construction area.
